About Robotics

Robotics is an interdisciplinary branch of computer science and engineering. Robotics involves design, construction, operation, and use of robots. The goal of robotics is to design machines that can help and assist humans. Robotics develops machines that can substitute for humans and replicate human actions.

 Why Robotics?

Robotics is a multidisciplinary subject that involves the design, building, operation, and use of robots for a variety of purposes. Advances in this discipline have not only decreased human labor, but have also established new benchmarks for precision and accuracy in the different fields where it is used. Robotics has an unimaginable future, and it may usher in a new era of human progress all over the world.

  • Introduction to Robotics and its industrial applications.
  • Mechanical design of ROBOT using SolidWorks.
  • Operation of Robotic Manipulator, Drone, COBOTs etc.
  • Robustness in Control Architecture, IoT, Sensors and MCUs interfacing.
  • Advanced Robotics-ROS & ROS-II, SLAM, AI-ML-DL and Computer Vision.

For Robotics, participants will learn kinematics and dynamics of industrial Manipulators, kinematics of mobile robots, trajectory planning, path planning and control and how to embed intelligence in robotic tasks. Therefore, the course will provide the basic understanding of robot manipulators and robot kinematics.

  • Fresh engineering students belongs to the core engineering streams (EE, ECE, EEE, ME, EI and CSE/IT) of engineering colleges/Polytechnique colleges.
  • Government departments.
  • Robotics and Automation companies.
